Que Onda!

“I am Jose Alonso and I want to share with you a little of my life… it’s been quite varied. I am passionate about many things – but particularly watersports. I have been so lucky, I spent 15 years in Cancun as a senior dolphin trainer. Then I opened two bar/restaurants in Aguascalientes and Sayulita. I loved the life and meeting new people, but the hours are very long. I got married and decided to get more healthy! So now I have a fantastic health bar/ health food business in Bucerias.”

I’m passionate about

“Water sports: surfing, paddleboard, scuba diving, fishing. I also enjoy reading a good book and jogging.”

My destination is the perfect place to indulge in my hobbies

“I am delighted! I can just grab my SUP or surf board any day, anytime and paddle away.”

I believe Riviera Nayarit is the Mexican Paradise

“Riviera Nayarit/Puerto Vallarta is a very privileged and unique destination. Not only do we have beautiful beaches, but we are surrounded by mountains and jungle allowing locals and tourists to enjoy any type of activity. From a delicious dinner in a restaurant located in the middle of the ocean, from waterfalls in Yelapa, to the Marietta Islands (hidden beach islands) to a nice walk on the beach in Bucerias – my home town – or Sayulita (surfer town). There is a wide variety of restaurants and an international gastronomy event every year. In addition to this, this area is one of the safest places in Mexico.”

The reason I love being a WIXXER is that I get to share

“The variety of places you can go to a within 1-hour distance: from Puerto Vallarta – which has the night clubs and the Malecon – to Sayulita – a charming surfers’ town. I want them to feel they have experienced one of the most unique destinations in Mexico for its nature, activities and the top level of guest services we offered them.”

“I want them to leave with one of the most unique travel experiences they have ever had!”

MY TRIPWIX guests absolutely have to

“Snorkel in the Marietta Islands or Yelapa, enjoy a moonlight horseback ride and, definitely, zip lining through our jungle. I just hope that I can go with every one of them – I never get tired of any of these activities! Our nature is so beautiful here and I love to have fun with new people.”

I want my guests to take home real memories of their time here

“We have jewelry made by the local native cultures, handmade clothing and accessories, masks, and even local art. Everything is made by hand with natural materials. Local people are very proud of their skills and our traditional artifacts are becoming really popular throughout the world.”
