No detail is too small or challenge too big, rest assured Rubi will be on the case to make sure everything runs seamlessly. Take a look at what Rub had to share with us about her role with Tripwix in Los Cabos…
What attracted you to your profession?
I grew up traveling to see my family abroad, so for me making itineraries and keeping track of travel arrangements is second nature. I truly enjoy being able to help people plan their trips, especially to my hometown where I can recommend my favorite places, activities, and services.
What are your passions?
Art, food, nature. Lucky for me, Los Cabos is an amazing place to celebrate all my passions. We have a local art district, direct access to organic produce, fresh seafood and a unique and diverse environment filled with endemic species.
Why do you love the Los Cabos so much?
I’ve moved away, but I keep coming back for more. I love the raw natural beauty, kind local people, interesting tourists that come through town, and in my opinion, it is one of the greatest hubs for culinary experiences in Mexico, whether it’s a casual lunch or diner at a world renowned restaurant. Oh, and let’s not forget the incredible climate. You can’t beat warm sunny winters!
What activities would you recommend to guests?
* Sunset yacht charters, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling … ANYTHING out at sea. Depending on the season, you’re able to see whales, dolphins, sea turtles, and all kinds of different Baja wild life.
* ATV tours in Todo Santos or the East Cape. Great for a fun morning out in the sun exploring the unique landscape.
* Art Walk in San Jose del Cabo’s historic art district. Every Thursday evening, downtown San José lights up. Art Galleries, tequila tastings, live music, and local artisan stands. A great night to have dinner and explore.
* Spa services or yoga Classes in your Villa.
* Local farmers market. From November to May we have one of the absolute best farmers markets I’ve been to. Find amazing fresh produce, handcrafted clothing and jewelry, beauty treatments, local culinary delights, live music, and more.
* Professional photoshoots. Whether it’s to celebrate an anniversary or a family vacation portrait, I think capturing a beautiful moment is such a special touch.
What do you want guests to remember from their vacations with you?
I hope our guests remember a sense of relaxation mixed with excitement. It’s so hard to disconnect from all the stress and worries that come with our day-to-day lives and truly enjoy life. Here in Los Cabos, I encourage you to let go and let me fuss over the details so you can soak in the beautiful scenery in the company of your loved ones.
What souvenirs should guests look out for?
Downtown San José is filled with one of a kind jewelry, unique clothing pieces, wines from the Northern Baja California region, leather goods, art from our local artists.
Any last words?
Whether it’s a relaxing escape from the office or a celebration with family and friends, I look forward to helping you custom-plan your dream vacation to Los Cabos. And remember Cabo’s motto: “No bad days!” I’ll make sure of that!
