Hacienda de San Rafael

$319 - $5,691 / night

Can’t decide whether to stay in Seville or Jerez? Well, how about right between the two?

Enjoy all the wonders the region has to offer and whilst you’re at it, take the glorious back road to Ronda, twist and turn through unspoilt miles of undulating farmland, olive groves and sunflowers.

Hacienda de San Rafael is perfectly positioned to help you become better acquainted with the intriguing western side of Andalucía. That is, if you can tear yourself away from the pool, gardens and shady surroundings.

Gentrified living at a more gracious pace – while being surrounded by sophisticated country pursuits – is easily attained at this noble Cortijo.

Your arrival heralds a warm welcome from the owner or the friendly staff, including a welcome drink and a tour of the property. You will smile at the great good fortune bestowed upon you at finding this idyllic spot which was originally part of a thriving olive plantation.

The 2 Deluxe suites are located on either side of the central open courtyard. A covered terrace – where you’ll be delighted to find a wake-up coffee or tea tray placed each morning – runs in front.

The main house is bathed in countryside comfort with overstuffed upholstery, antiques, collections and an authentic equestrian theme.

EMPHASIS ON GASTRONOMY
Breakfast is conveniently served outside your own suite door. This is such a lovely feature as shuffling a few feet in robe and slippers will not be frowned upon and neighboring guests are semi-hidden.

Have lunch poolside or in the shade of the cabana. And dinner under the clear, starry skies of the central courtyard is a romantic’s delight. Dinner is a 3- course set menu with a generous pairing of half a bottle per person.
