A beautiful setting amidst rolling hills and olive groves lays the scene for your Italian sojourn in Casa Graziosa, conveniently located for visiting Lucca and Pisa to the west and Florence to the east. Likewise, the thermal baths at Montecatini Terme are less than 15 minutes away and the Chianti region of Tuscany awaits you with wine tasting opportunities galore. Vinci, the birth town of renaissance polymath Leonardo da Vinci, is about 40 minutes away.
Upon entry, a rather stately log-burning fireplace gives away the villa’s age with a worn inscription stating 1805 in bold type. More than two centuries later, the home continues to delight whoever crosses its threshold with warm renovated interiors and plenty of outdoor areas.
The simple pleasures can be enjoyed in this understated villa that promises good-times with your favourite people. From the outside it looks more akin to a townhouse than a country villa, enjoying three floors, 300 sqm (3200 sqft) and extensive grounds. Indeed, you are sure to take advantage of its al fresco areas – including a fabulous private pool and lovely lawns – for socialising and dining.
If you are looking for a totally quiet and peaceful experience, this is the place for you. There is plenty of space for individuals in big groups to have their own privacy and you can enjoy pretty, 360-degree views from the pool area as well as great views from most of the bedrooms.
A lovely consecrated chapel and a small staff cottage both make a pretty mark on the estate.

The home is ideal for 10 guests in 5 large bedrooms but can accommodate a further two adults with a sofa bed in the entrance vestibule. There is also space for small cribs.

Living Areas
The interiors of this villa are somewhat overshadowed by the stunning beauty of its outside areas. A spacious living room with flat screen TV and comfortable sofas, leads into a large formal dining room featuring a decorative piano. The kitchen is sizeable and opens to a pretty back-garden terrace where a table and chairs are set up for lovely breakfasts and casual meals. A fixed barbecue sits in the corner here.
At the front of the property, picturesque landscaped gardens compete with the rural scenery. There is space for al fresco dining and a lovely lounge area with modern garden furniture.
Beneath the shade of an ancient tree near the chapel, you can escape to a quiet area with stone seats and an aromatic herb garden. Here is the perfect spot for meditation or to read a book.
The villa’s large swimming pool offers plenty of sunbeds in a totally private area with stunning views. Behind the pool, a charming olive grove bears the fruit necessary to produce the home-made olive oil you can sample while staying here. It is also a great place for a quaint picnic amongst the trees.
