Scuba Diving

- Certified divers: Includes 1 dive at the Marietta Islands.
- Intermediate divers: Includes 2 dives at Los Anigados – 4 miles from the Marietta Islands (Divers must have at least 20 dives).
- Advanced divers: Includes 2 dives at El Morro – 7 miles from the Marietta Islands.
Snorkeling at the Marietta Islands
The Marietta Islands lie within Banderas Bay about a 20-minute boat ride from Punta Mita. Don’t miss out on the best snorkeling conditions ever! The waters around the Marietta Islands are as clear as can be and marine life is abundant. Our guides will take you snorkeling and introduce you to the hidden beach of Playa del Amor.

Spearfishing
The clear waters of the Bay of Banderas and the rocky promontories around Punta Mita make spearfishing an ideal sport for the area. Take the training course and pit your eye (and lung capacity) against the underwater fish life.
This activity comes with highly-specialized equipment and expert local guides with boat options for:
- Inshore Spearfishing (up to 9 miles from the shore)
- Or Offshore Spearfishing (10 to 50 miles)
Duration: Minimum 3 hrs

Spearfishing Introductory Course
In shallow water conducted at the St. Regis Bay.
Age: Minimum 10 yrs
Inshore Spearfishing: Catch Mahi Mahi, roosterfish, breams and much, much more. You’ll go out on a 30ft Prosport twin-engine, 150hp catamaran or a 35ft Sportfishing yacht with air-conditioning. (Rates vary according to the boat.)
Duration: 4 hrs
Age: Minimum 10 yrs
Maximum capacity: Up to 6 people
Offshore Spearfishing: Catch tuna, marlin and sailfish
You’ll go out on a 30ft Prosport twin-engine, 150hp catamaran or a 35ft Sportfishing yacht with air-conditioning. (Rates vary according to the boat.)
Duration: 8 hours
Age: Minimum 10 yrs
Maximum capacity: Up to 6 people
All excursions include: Safety equipment, locally-experienced guides, beverages and the necessary ingredients to prepare an offshore “ceviche”.
The boat is equipped with: Fishfinder, GPS, radar, tuna tower, outriggers, live bait tank, one cabin, bathroom, grill and 3 Suzuki 300 HP engines.
