Built in the 1990’s, this home makes you feel as if you’ve been transported back to another, more refined era. The elegantly-furnished, immaculate living and dining rooms draw you out to a long, covered terrace where you can soak up the heady tranquility of the surrounding countryside. An abundance of hand-painted Portuguese tiles adorns the kitchen and all en-suite bathrooms. Pastel-hued painted ceilings and furniture can be found around every corner. Don’t fear, all modern-day creature comforts are in evidence with a strong emphasis on a warm welcome, tiny details and coziness.

All bedroom suites have a different motif, but you will find well-placed family antiques, creature comforts and a definite nod to classical British interior design throughout. Hand-painted Portuguese tiles following the theme adorn the bathroom walls. Five suites occupy the main house with an additional suite in a guest house a short distance away.
