At this beautiful house, you can enjoy complete privacy, away from the world, and be in touch with miles and miles of nature and deserted beaches. However, this gorgeous home is close enough to Careyes village for you to enjoy the animated social life during the high season.
It is ideal for both large and small groups. The estate can be rented as a whole, sprawling family home or can accommodate 1 to 3 couples or smaller family groups in its 3 bungalow suites.
An eagle’s nest provides stunning 360-degree views of the 5-mile-long beach and the rolling mountains nearby. Listen closely, and you’ll hear the ocean waves in the distance, as well as birdsong that breaks the soothing silence. A thousand trails around the property offer many options for hiking and exploring.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Life here is all about the surrounding nature, sea and beaches. All aspects of the home embrace these natural elements and are designed for the exterior lush tropics to take center stage.
Bedroom suites are simply furnished, featuring original photography collections by the famed owner /photographer as well as themes embraced by the family. All are en-suite and feature private patios and balconies.
The Master Suite is located on a completely private upper patio with a lap pool. It can be accessed by a separate driveway or through the main home.
A second large suite, the Polo Suite, offers views across the polo grounds and stables. It is also completely private with its own access.
The bedroom and bungalow wing, with its incredible views over the nature reserve to the miles of pristine beach and rolling Pacific, is located to the side of the main living palapa.
The 3 bungalows are 2-story buildings with palapa roofs. The entry level offers a spacious studio living room with 2 built-in, comfy, oversized sofas, private patio and a bathroom with super-sized tub/rain-head shower combo. The upper levels each have a King-size bed, private deck and half-bath with toilet. Each bungalow is ideal for a couple or family with 1 or 2 small children.

Living Areas
Wow! What more can we say? This is living to a greater degree! The spaces are all very large and open to nature. Large-scale parties will be right at home here – but small, intimate spaces abound for quiet moments and get-togethers with smaller groups.
The large, open-air palapa living room is decorated with huge built-in lounge sofas, oversized Mexican embroidered pillows, chaises and chairs. Colour abounds from the deep red of the walls to the exotic handicrafts to the million and one greens of the jungle.
Polished concrete floors are intricately worked with beautiful black stone design and borders – this is a very typical Mexican detail and it is shown to its greatest advantage.
To one side, there’s a smaller relaxation lounge. Decorated with a floor bed and pillows, this area makes an inviting sub-space for younger guests.
The dramatic upper-level dining room is also open to nature and easily seats 20. With a full-time team of cooks and waitstaff, meals here are opulent – not to mention very tasty!
The pool terrace is draped with climbing vines and offers a lovely location to spend days relaxing or snacking. A variety of fun exterior nooks, crannies, day beds and places to hang all offer themselves up around the gardens and throughout the property.
If socializing is not on the nightly calendar – and lots of socializing takes place in vibrant Careyes – a night in the impressive screening room/library will be most memorable.
