"Light and Bright – a Charming Summer Villa with Fabulous Views and Lovely Gardens!" - Reviewed by Lisa

Love has been lavished on this immaculately clean, fresh and bright summer villa. The owner has nurtured every plant in the garden and personally overseen every detail from the quintessentially-Italian, handmade lace curtains to the finely-woven linen bedding. This is the attention to detail we love.

Set on a large private lot, not far from the centre of Sorrento,  surrounded by lush lawns and offering stunning views over the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, the Villa immediately welcomes the guest.

After you’ve parked within the gated and fenced property, a short walk along a manicured pathway takes you to a large, richly-hued wooden table sitting under a covered porch by the entryway where the tone is set. Lush lawns spread to the left of the house and, in front, are stunning views of Iscia, Naples and the bay of Sorrento. It’s hard to concentrate on the pretty home with so many spectacular vistas on the doorstep.

There is no mistaking you are in Italy – hand-painted, ceramic-tiled floors abound in vibrant, fresh yellows, blues and whites; antiques are dotted between modern pieces; terracotta pots house lemon trees and the dishes in the kitchen are all made by hand by local Vietri artisans.

Fresh, bright, immaculate and perfect for a family, group or event, the house is just delightful and well-situated for all the sights of the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Pompeii and Paestum. A wonderful base from which to explore the area or equally never leave.
