Los Cabos
Why visit one fabulous destination when you can visit two! Los Cabos is a vibrant seaside playground at the very tip of the Baja California coast with two delightful faces: Cabo San Lucas with its famed rocky ocean arch to the southwest and San Jose del Cabo with its artsy vibe to the northeast. Not to mention the upscale sandy corridor in between. Together, where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, these sister destinations form one of the most sought-after locations in Mexico.
Los Cabos boasts the best of two worlds. Though Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo are just 22 miles apart, they offer very different experiences. Cabo San Lucas is a bustling resort city with a lovely marina and an Instagram-worthy ocean arch that heads up all the postcards. San Jose, on the other hand, boasts the quaint charm of a small Mexican town peppered with art galleries and boutique restaurants.
What is for sure, when visiting Los Cabos, both destinations are within easy reach offering a host of adventures from whale watching to sunset cruises to snorkeling to surfing to ATV explorations and even camel rides! Golf lovers won’t be disappointed with the course here and the dry desert temperatures make it a year-round destination.
San Jose del Cabo
Visitors can certainly expect an authentic Mexican experience in this sleepy, artsy town. Quaint boutique-style shopping, colorful colonial architecture, and a peppering of art galleries provide a more laid-back vibe to its sister town, Cabo San Lucas. Here you can enjoy late-night strolls and romantic escapes that appeal to a different type of crowd.
Cabo San Lucas
There’s no denying it, Cabo San Lucas is the lively sister that never sleeps. However, the upside means she’s packed with fabulous restaurants, endless bars with live music and happy hours and a marina docked with million-dollar yachts and lined with designer stores. Also, it’s from here that you can see the famous rocky arch which is one of the only places in the world where you can swim in both an ocean and a sea.
