Shopping in Punta Mita

"Let the shops come to you. Champagne shopping experience! " - Reviewed by Lisa

Mexico Punta de Mita Area

What can be more fun than a pop-up boutique around your own swimming pool! No schlepping through the streets, no waiting in line – our two fave boutiques will set up a fun designer shopping experience in the comfort of your own home.

Meet the designers and owners behind Corazon Sagrado (locally-made Mexican resort wear in fab fabrics) and Mita Mita (a beachy collection of international labels suited to the Punta Mita vibe.)

Just tell us how many guests, when and where and we’ll do the rest!

Shops of Punta Mita

There are a multitude of fun shops in the village of Punta Mita and behind the gates.

Our two favourites are:

Corazon Sagrado (Sacred Heart) Boutique

This resort-wear collection is the result of colorful contemporary designs with traditional craftsmanship and natural fiber materials. Corazon Sagrado is designed and produced by Mexican hands on site. All garments are made from 100% natural fibers like cotton, linen and silk.

Corazon Sagrado is an explosion of color and freedom. Handmade is much more than high-quality products, handmade is a tangible expression of culture, care and inspiration handed down from generation to generation.

Everyone’s story is the story of their heart!

This lovely little boutique and its helpful staff will help you enhance your wardrobe with authentic and trendy brands for the perfect beach day, cocktail hour and resort living.

Mita Mita believes every journey is a voyage of discovery, in which every piece you take home will bring a timeless memory of this special place.

La Cruz Market

A fun Sunday market where locals go to buy organic produce. Tourists head here for authentic souvenirs and crowd-watchers enjoy it for its diversity and colour. Anybody who just wants a snippet of Mexico-by-the-sea can spend an enjoyable day here during the high season.

The marina at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle makes a lovely backdrop for a large number of stalls ranging from raw produce to cooked
foods, to jewelry, ceramics, artwork and clothing. A live local band plays each week and the area is surrounded by restaurants – so even if shopping is not your thing, the atmosphere is worth the trip.
