Meet our concierge dream team ready to make your stay an unforgettable experience in the Punta Mita area. Headed by Yamira Joya and joined by Perla Altamirano and Jacki Rios, the local concierge team are poised to personalize and inspire every moment of your vacation in Punta de Mita.

Yamira, tell us a little about yourself and the Tripwix Punta de Mita Concierge Team?

Well, I have been working in this field for almost two decades (I started very young!), and I have known the founders of Tripwix for almost as long. When they approached me to head up their concierge department in Punta de Mita, it was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss. I have also known Perla for many years. She is an amazing concierge, so I was sure I wanted her to work with me again. Jacki was already working for Tripwix when I joined, but it was soon very clear to me that she was going to be a true asset to the team.

Perla, what do you love most about being a concierge?

We are so lucky to live and breath the beauty of this magical destination every day. We love sharing our passion with guests! Having returned to the area after living more than a decade in the United States, it is so amazing to come home and share what I love with visitors. I see Banderas Bay with different eyes now. I know the standards that guests are looking for, and we always go above and beyond.

Jacki, what experiences do you recommend to your guests?

– Try out our local chefs and great restaurants, some of which can only be reached by boat.
– Amazing beach and jungle horseback rides.
– Tequila tasting
– Private yacht and sunset dinner experiences

Yamira, as a mother yourself, what do you recommend for families visiting Punta Mita?

The kids clubs and beach clubs inside the gates of Punta Mita are a god-send for parents. We can also organise professional nannies and babysitters. We know firsthand how important it is to have the right people looking after our children.

Perla, do you have any special memories when you did something extra special for a guest?

Recently, we set up a surprise birthday breakfast for one of our repeat guests. We were able to have the glasses for the mimosas personalized with birthday-girl’s name. She loved it. Sometimes a small detail goes such a long way.
