There is something distinctively tropical about this Punta Mita rental home that is more reminiscent of South East Asia than Mexico, but somehow the architects, Alfonso Lopez Baz and Javier Calleja bring it all together with charming effect. Maybe it’s the golf course lake views, the lily pond, or the palm-fringed palapa roof, but there is an undeniable rustic charm about this Lagos del Mar villa inside the gates of Punta Mita.
Natural materials, such as wood, marble, and stone complement the expansive open plan layout with shaded living and dining areas that create a dreamlike inside-outside experience. A separate media room that can be a seal and cooled with AC provides rest from the heat of the day while most of the living spaces are outside, albeit beneath the shade.
With a cook to prepare your meals, there really is no need to venture far. As such, this home is ideal for groups looking for privacy and wanting to spend time together on site. Residents’ membership allows access to the Pacifico Golf course and the Residents beach club
